My obsession with cakes began at a very young age - watching intently as my Great Aunt would hand sculpt sugar flowers for our family celebration cakes. My happy place is behind my workbench. The scent of cake and buttercream fill the studio, all made in-house with the freshest local ingredients.

Cake Ink is inspired by all things beautiful. Working with a soft and airy colour palette, we charm with cool blues and lilacs, soft pinks and peach, whites, ivory, cream and gold; all complementing each other. We fuse traditional cake decorating methods with innovative, modern design to produce stunning bespoke wedding and celebration cakes.

Previous life:

I wasn’t always a cake designer – I have a marketing and brand management background. I however always had my head in the clouds… dreaming of pastry and sugar artistry.

Many years of experimentation lead to the development of my own signature style - a sophisticated aesthetic where modern romance meets timeless design.

Our team has since grown and our work has been featured in many leading worldwide publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Cosmopolitan Bride, Bride To Be, Hello May, Style Me Pretty, 100 Layer Cakelet, Once Wed, Polka Dot Bride, Real Weddings and Cake Central. 

Personal life:

My absolute favourite cakes to create are those for my own children Paddy and Ivy.
Paddy, my sweet and sensitive boy who loves to draw and my little girl, Ivy, my wild child. I like to think that the cakes I dream up for them capture their beautiful and sweet souls.

My husband is my rock and biggest supporter - you may even catch him delivering cakes across the city each weekend! We live in Bayside Melbourne and love it here.
